Description
Precision Rifle 1 is a 2 day 16+ hour course held at Del Norte Gun Club, Rio Rancho, NM. PR1 covers topics such as selection, maintenance, reticle selection and employment, MOA/MRAD characteristics, external ballistics, wind effects, marksmanship fundamentals, zeroing, engagement tactics and techniques specific to the precision rifle, and employment of artificial support such as tripods. Shooters will apply these fundamentals during live fire exercises and will leave the class with a working level knowledge of how to effectively employ a precision rifle at known distances to 1000 yards.

NOTE: Rifles and ammunition of questionable quality or in questionable condition will not be appropriate for this course. We will be conducting live-fire drills, so firearms must be reliable and safe for use.
