Description

Handgun 2 is a 1-day, 5-hour class. Shooters will learn to employ a systematic approach to training, measure their performance with measurable and repeatable standards, and become more efficient with the handgun.

Handgun 2 – Required Gear List

  • Handgun
  • 500 rounds
  • Magazines (5 minimum)
  • Quality Holster (strong side outside waistband, no shoulder or cross draw holsters)
  • Sturdy pistol belt
  • Magazine pouch(s)
  • Weapon cleaning kit & lube
  • Hearing/eye protection
  • Sharpie
  • Clothes appropriate for the season and a high-altitude desert
  • Long sleeve shirt & pants
  • Closed-toed athletic/outdoor footwear
  • Ballcap
  • Water bottle, water, snacks, lunch
  • Sunscreen & Chapstick

NOTE: Handguns, holsters, and ammunition of questionable quality or in questionable condition will not be appropriate for this course. We will be conducting live-fire drills, so firearms must be reliable, reloadable, and safe for use. Holsters must completely cover the trigger guard and retain the handgun during vigorous movement.
